2023 Holler At Me: Top Rap Albums

Yay 2023! It had a bunch of rap albums that graced our earholes.  Some albums did the opposite and desecrated our earholes but this list is a celebration y'all.  These are my favorite albums and projects of the year.  There's no ranking, just a big old participation trophy and orange slices for all.

Estee Nack- Nacksaw Jim Duggan   I'm going to actually put this at #1 therefore entry into the College Football Playoffs too.

Armand Hammer- We Buy Diabetic Test Strips

Recognize Ali- Back to Mecca II

Atmosphere- So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously   "OK" is a perfect album starter and compliment to a cold drink on a hot day.

Open Mike Eagle- Another Triumph Of Ghetto Engineering

Aesop Rock- Integrated Tech Solutions   There's a entire song about how he met Mr. T at a deli, rap music never fails!

Kool Keith & Real Bad Man- Serpent   Cool Calm Pete sighting.

Zilla Rocca & Jason Griff- Stacking Chips

sleepingdogs- I'm fakin' my own death just to get some rest   "Chipper Jones" is a hell of a track and it really isn't about the former Atlanta Brave.

billy woods & Kenny Segal- Maps

Rome Streetz & Big Ghost Ltd- Wasn't Built In A Day

CZARFACE- Czartificial Intelligence  Eso has a track about leaving his comic books in his mom's basement that is really relatable.

Vic Spencer & August Fanon- Psychological Cheat Sheet 4

Nas- Magic 3   "No Tears" can actually make you tear up.

Domo Genesis & Graymatter- What Don't You Get?

Tha God Fahim- Chess Moves   Playing chess while listening to this album probably unleashes some vision from a dusty book.
